Unless you're one of those 'Please don't call me "Sir" I work for a living' gents, in which case I just say Thank ye, kindly. :-)

OK, it's up, click here to see it, along with a few introductory remarks. I get about 400 hits per day (I don't know why) so here's hoping your wise words get passed around. It pretty much comes down to &quo...Beautiful, Gary. It pretty much comes down to "horse sense" like you said, doesn't it? So why is it lacking so?

My brother was in television, and I got to know his co-workers. Believe me, they know nothing of Science. It's all about "image" with them, and beating the competition. They probably think Albert Einstein built the first atomic bomb in his basement, right after he invented the electric light bulb. :-)

Things have devolved into sensationalism. Where did that start? I'm thinking Randolph Hearst with his "yellow journalism." Then after 50 years, the stuffy Brits caught on and outdid our own National Enquirer. Then that fed back across to the States. For an example of the latest, click here for MSNBC's take on America's military calling Japan's threat level too low, and the Air Force's WC-135W Constant Phoenix aircraft being essentially a Boeing 707. Good grief, never let the facts get in the way of a good story, huh?

Well once again, thanks for your excellent opinion and usual voice of reason. I also loved your take on the Tuscon shooting, which essentially was "Guns don't kill people, bullets don't kill people, rather, gun shops sell to idiots", right?

Can I have your permission to feature this and your previous article at my blog?Steven Colyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10435759210177642257noreply@blogger.com
